No Cost Resources for Building Reptile Cages or a Reptile Enclosure…

If you are reading this article then you’ve may have spent hours online trying to research and figure out if you need to buy one of these fancy, schmancy reptile mansions that cost hundreds or thousands of $$, or whether you are able to go a more financially feasible route and just build a decent one yourself.

It’s pretty obvious that the appeal for most people is to save themselves the money and build their own reptile cages or reptile enclosure. This is a pretty good idea if you have the time and talent to do so, but make sure youcount the cost to take on the project and are realistic in your approach. If you’ve never picked up a hammer before then it may not go as fast and easy as you expect, so just keep that in mind.

I remember asking this question myself, and wondered whether to build, or buy a baby bearded dragon cage for our new pet. I was really shocked at how few resources I found available online. There are a ton of people selling custom cages at a premium online (and they are nice cages for sure), but I was looking more for a guide to do it myself or maybe even some basic plans for free.

After searching around for hours online I noticed that you could BUY an ebook or plans for a relatively low cost, but finding free plans or guides was a little more tricky. There are definitely resources out there (as I show you below), but it did take some digging around.

So I thought if any of my readers needed this info I could at least post some of the links that I found some pretty helpful info. I’ve only listed a few and these are not anything that I contributed to (or receive money from if you visit), but I figured I could save a bunch of people lots of time. These resources definitely piqued my interest and I figured I could share some of their info with you here and save you the trouble of scouring the net yourself.
